Holiday Kids Gifting Catalog — Overview
The Holiday Kids Gifting Catalog is the single largest guest-facing deliverable of the holiday season. The 2024 Catalog packed toys for kids, teens & parents into 80 pages of joy. It wouldn’t be possible without the dedicated collaboration between designers, writers & editors, merchandising, project management, production, print services & so many more. It’s the definition of a “one-team” project.
But where do I fit in?
With approximately 8 items per page, over the course of 80 pages, there’s roughly 600+ items of copy to manage. This means sourcing product info for accurate descriptions, diligent editing & proofreading, and running reviews with our legal team to approve & update company messaging. My job, along with my editing partner Rick Thompson, was to ensure that we were bringing a 100% accurate book to print.
